He disrespected both the survivors and the casualties of this tornado. At a time when he should have been compassionate, he chose to act like the citizens of Putnam County should have been able to escape the storm, but, their stupidity and inferior housing stopped them. Totally irresponsible of him and he needs to be retrained so that he understands how to treat others.
No kind of apology will ever make up for what was spoken. This is sickening. They don't deserve to be on radio to spew anymore of their ignorance.

Uncalled for!!! I think the ignorance was on the radio and not in rural Tennessee.
I'm not sure why anyone would say what they did in such a horrible time!
From an educated channel 5 CBS watching yes we can watch the news on the plateau

I was so disappointed by what i heard.. They was unsensituve and insulting to my community. It was another slap in their face!
