I support the Willow Tree Project. The existing building has served the community well, but it's time to give Halifax something fresh and new at this location.

The Willow Tree Tower represents a beautiful development. Something we can take pride in. Its design is by far one of the most progressive and impressive I have seen in a while. Lets show the investment community that we believe in the potential of the city as much as they do. Please build it and embrace a future of prosperity. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this development!

I support this development and firmly think it should be allowed to proceed,

Please let this city grow! I worked in the old willow tree until recently and it's time for it to come down. I also frequent the Commons and do not see how this design will impede anything from being subject to Sunshine given the pathway of the sun. Modernize this archaic city.

Make Downtown Halifax worth moving to. Support projects that allow density and have more citizens that can support a vibrant downtown.

Halifax should not be held back from progressing into a modern city.

I believe this location is the perfect place for the type of density being proposed. We are a city, not a small village. We need to shed the weight of pessimism and vocal naysayers and embrace the positive impacts these type of projects will have on social and economic health of our city.

For any city to progress development in its modern form must happen. It's is my impression following the great people who communicate and post and educated about city developments that they and I want 29 stories which will helps pave the way for a bolder prosperous city

Development in Halifax will drive our economy. Keep development out of our neighborhoods but on main thoroughfares, build up. Downtown, build up.

I support the height of the proposed building and the design is great! Council should approve this!

I support the height of the building as proposed, but not sold on the building design at such a high profile location.

This city needs a face lift, to much is getting in the way of development. As long as the environment is safe, who cares if you can't get sun on a small part of the commons for a few hours.

We have not stopped sprawl since amalgamation- we never fight it or protest, and we need to counter it with urban density. So upward we must go.

Other major cities are way ahead of Halifax in development across Canada. #WakeUpHalifax It's time for BIG change

being a newer Haligonian who has moved here from Toronto I must say don't let a few people ruin the development of this beautiful city vertical density is the more environmentally friendly and economically best way to develop don't let a few NIMBY's ruin planning
