Stop gatekeeping. Stop creating hurdles that people have to jump over. Stop paternalistic surveillance over what people do with the money. Just stop. Donors want those funds to be distributed to survivors and victims' families. Red tape means the MOST vulnerable, most precarious, most unable to navigate systems, are left out.

This money was donated to support the most impacted. Be a good steward and give all the funding to Club Q survivors and families now.

As someone born and raised in Colorado Springs, you should be ashamed.

Any organization that manipulates the public into giving them money to support victims and then keeps a large portion for themselves needs to lose their charity status. It disgusts me.

The harm you have caused is unmeasurable, but we will do what we can to hold you accountable and prevent you from politicking your way into future tragedies.

It’s immoral to keep what’s raised from victims and families

It is ridiculous that this petition is even necessary. Victims should not be revictimized. The "expert" opinions CHF stands behind are not experts in what all victims need after each crime. Only the actual victims the money is being raised for are the experts on how the money should be dispersed. You claim, "there has never been a victim compensation fund whose model has achieved universal support". I challenge that because Bread and Roses Law has clearly demonstrated a model capable of achieving universal support, except for those that wish to profit off of victims and tragedies, whether it be monetarily or just to gain publicity for themselves to further their careers.
