We are calling on Colorado Healing Fund to release 100% of the remaining funds to survivors and the families of those lost. At least 70% of the Healing Funds’ money has been undistributed.

Survivors and victims’ families are the experts in their experience. No one knows better than the people most impacted about how to use funds. The demand to manage their funds and scrutinize their lives is re-traumatizing and harmful.

There is not an expert who knows what these individuals need.

100% to those impacted allows people to plan for their future. Instead of living relief check to relief check, victims can access supportive care and economic security.

The Colorado Healing Fund cannot be trusted with survivor information. They have discussed the private lives of survivors with individuals outside of their organization and referred survivors without their permission.

Donors across the country donated millions of dollars to help survivors, not to control them. Honor the intent of donors and release the funds now.

100% to survivors and victims’ families NOW.

Please stop forcing more pain and suffering on the victims and families of the club q shooting. They deserve to receive the money that we all generously donated in their name. It astounds me that you would keep this money back and shows that you can’t be trusted to raise money in future Colorado disasters.

Please do the right thing Colorado Healing fund. Be what your name is about. Help us heal. I’m a victim of gun violence and funds would have been helpful for my employees during the grieving period, which is never ending. Release the funds to the people that need it.

Stop gatekeeping. Stop creating hurdles that people have to jump over. Stop paternalistic surveillance over what people do with the money. Just stop. Donors want those funds to be distributed to survivors and victims' families. Red tape means the MOST vulnerable, most precarious, most unable to navigate systems, are left out.

I’m Raymond’s bestfriend and I’m devastated on how nonexistent the money has reached out to the families and victims of the unexplainable violence that has occurred in our town Colorado Springs.

The money belongs to the victims, not to CHF. Anything less than 100% of the donations going to victims immediately is unacceptable—for the victims, for the donors, and for the community CHF claims to serve.

100% should always go directly to victims/survivors. Distributed as quickly as possible. Nonprofits should hold nothing back and allow victims privacy and dignity, along with the donations meant for them.

These victims have been through enough. Time to give them the funds that were raised for them.
