It's very important to me because lack of transparency is a proof of dishonesty. I am frustrated as an owner because the accounting is done in the worst way- sloppy, lazy and dishonest. The property has not been maintained despite very high HOA dues and special assessment. I see it as corruption because what is happening to the money? We need people with integrity on the board.

Transparency and documentation has been an issue for 10+ years or more. I worked for years trying to get this done to no avail. Julie, I agree with everything you have said. I done it for years, so frustrating!

To answer this question, one simply has to drive through the entrance to our community, and remember the '80s the '90s, etc. Pride is slowly being replaced by neglect and lack of participation.
Solutions are often not easy, and leadership is not often easy, but common goals need to be defined within a planned outline.
Your signatures can become a new foundation, a new outline, a new leadership, a new future.
