Demand that Minister Rose Jackson commit to a permanent plant start date before the 2028 filter expires at Cascade Dam in Katoomba. We are calling on Labor NSW and Water Minister Rose Jackson to stop moving the goalposts and deliver three concrete commitments:
- A Binding Construction Schedule: Confirm the timeline and funding for the permanent $80–100M Cascade Filtration Plant upgrade immediately.
- No Expiry Extensions: An explicit rejection of extending temporary mobile filtration beyond early 2028 as a substitute for real infrastructure.
- Total Transparency: Monthly, publicly accessible published testing data comparing raw water PFAS levels to treated tap water levels.
Living in Katoomba just a few kilometres from the water contamination site, and drinking PFAS affected water daily.
