We of Stony Creek Branford Support the BJ's Project
We are concerned that testimony presented before the Planning & Zoning Commission is creating the impression that Stony Creek residents are united in opposition to this proposal. That is not the case. A significant number of residents support the requested PDD, and we ask the Commission to recognize that there are diverse views within the Stony Creek community.

I’m signing this because the working families of Branford will benefit from not having to go out of town to get bulk shopping done. Plus the jobs this could bring to the town is a major plus. The more locals are working the more the chance they will spend their money in town at local businesses. I mean seriously do we need more Self storage businesses in town. I live closer to the planned development than most of the SCA members who are worried about traffic and I’m not worried.
I think this would be good use of this parcel. It will be good to add to the town's tax revenue. Of course there will be an increase in traffic but I don't believe it will be as dire as some have predicated.
This is being rejected by the upper elite, with unfounded made up reasons. This is proposed in a commercial area. Many Branford residents would welcome this addition to our community.
I think it’s a great idea.
It would be a great benefit to the town.
As a family with littles this would be such as asset to our area that I would frequent regularly!

As a Young family in Branford, BJ’s would be a great addition to our shopping habits. We do frequently have to go out of town to do bulk shopping traveling either half hour or 45 minutes to either location. The job opportunities that will come with all of this expansion will help our town immensely we do not need any more apartments or storage facilities or let’s be real nail salons. Living off of exit 56 we would love to have BJ‘s come in and bring more livelihood to our quiet little area.
