We currently have an 11 year old, non-verbal autistic child missing. I use social media and I am a moderator on a northwest community page, where the child went missing. I didn’t even hear about it until a day later. We need a better system to get an alert out to the masses, this is unacceptable. He is a child with special needs and it has been two nights now, I am doing everything in my power to search for him and spread the word. This is an emergency and we need an alert.

We need to hold these people any people all people have some significance in our lives that we should be able to have colours for them like a silver hair and Amber why can’t we have one for children there definitely runners and have a problem with autism. I’m completely confused why there isn’t one for pretty much like it’s amazing. I could give a whole bunch more suggestions, but it won’t do it on here in this time

These alerts need to be sent out ASAP to save the lives of vulnerable children and adults with disabilities who wander/elope. The faster we spread the word, the more likely we are to save lives.

My son has autism so I think we really need a alert for children like him who can't be able to speak.

Obviously if a child or vulnerable goes missing they should have some type of auto alert system as not everyone has social media or listen to radio/tv

Because vulnerable people especially child with disabilities deserve to have protection and be find safely. They are at a more higher risk of being lost and not being able comprehend they are actually lost thus the need of a community system at a larger scale

I have a vulnerable (speech delayed) toddler. With Parker missing in Calgary and so few people even knowing, it highlights the necessity of an alert for missing vulnerable populations, as well as missing children in general.
