Some kids come to school thinking about other foods then school provided lunches this petition is so that us (students) can have a say so in what we eat , there is many problems that come with school lunch that schools don’t know about , for instance the (CHEMICALS FOUND !) in school lunch’s such as (Led)Water testing in Philadelphia public school kitchens has periodically detected lead in tap and prep-sink faucets, including elevated readings during district plumbing and water checks Pesticides and Glyphosate National testing of school meal samples by consumer and advocacy groups (such as Moms Across America and parliamentary/senate reviews) routinely detects traces of agricultural pesticides and the herbicide glyphosate in conventional produce and grain-based meal componentsPhthalates and Adipate's (Plasticizers): Studies on prepackaged and plastic-wrapped school lunch items have found plasticizing chemicals like DEHA (an adipate) that leach from food packaging filmsBacterial Contaminants (Listeria monocyte genes): Specific commercial chicken products supplied to hundreds of local schools have faced health alerts and recalls due to potential listeria contamination from third-party national processors (such as the BrucePac / Whit-son . these are HARMFUL PRODUCTS that school districts nationwide uses to provide and serve to students every day we (students) must fight for healthy meals and meals of our choice!
