I loved Theodore’s signage! The front of their shop with the new art made us feel like Prescott was going in the right direction. It was tasteful, well done, and actually interesting. And honestly, I’m black and tan it was pretty neutral, not that it needed to be. What is different between the mural the city commissioned by the parking garage and a nice sign a business had done?

Public art such as this is often funded by City money and grants — a thriving, local business has decided to put a whimsical & attractive piece of art on their building, with their own money, which also increases the beauty and whimsy of their town. I can see people stopping to take photos with this, walking or driving by and being drawn in by a lovely character who only shows exactly what they offer there — tasty bagels.

Absolutely waste of people’s time. It’s cute. It’s fitting and it’s causing no harm. Leave it alone.

There nothing about the sign that’s offensive. Probably a competitor that complained.
