This successful business is doing so much for the community and the city should do what it can to support their small, local businesses.

The City’s signage rules in this case are arbitrary and limiting a real improvement -visually and economically- to this part of town. If the City is really about small businesses and hometown character as they say they are, allow more art! Allow local businesses to market themselves effectively (no one noticed their tiny sign before)! Celebrate local success! Make it easier to do business here!

Art unites and speaks across all borders. It is beautification on a rather ugly corner of the city.

Their building needed this signage. It’s not on the historic downtown square and doesn’t detract from the codes demanded by the City there.
