I think 10:30PM is a completely reasonable in time for hostels for both boys and girls. Most classes end at 5:10 and it is only after it that students can relax a little and hang out with friends, or even study in library, etc.

Many other good colleges like iits dont have any curfew at all and 8:30 feels too restricted , till 10:30 is good as we can walk in the open as well after dinner .

What are we living in 19s or something? I highly think that the hostel and campus timings should be extended , as we have classes till 5:10 and some have classes till 6:50 there is no room for socialization , also we can't enjoy the basic night life of college which really is frustrating.
