Switching to other vendors might take some time which causes burden to the student. It happened before mekar cafe joined in 2025. There is cafe, but no food. If that were to happen again, it cause inconvenient mainly to the students/residents. Not everyone has transportation and not everyone can afford paying extra money for deliveries and transportation just to eat. Please keep mekar cafe at mahallah safiyyah they have been selling very good food at a very reasonable prices.

I hope the cafe can continue operating as it is convenient for students and staff to get food and drinks. Please consider extending the tender so we can continue enjoying the cafe’s services

For me, this cafe provide a good food with reasonable price. Instead of buying food after class at kuliyyah cafe or centre. I prefer to buy my lunch/dinner at mekar cafe. It will be hard to find good food out there.
