My home town for 76 years is not safe anymore. We don't need campers in parks or on streets. Inforce drug laws and stop catering to those who do not want help

I live in Renton and want my grandchildren to be able to enjoy the parks and trails. Allowing camping in public spaces is not humane

Three main reasons. 1. Allowing public camping does not help homeless people improve their life longterm. 2. Family & Citizen safety is paramount and drugs and crime are often part of the lifestyle of homeless encampments. 3. Local Businesses are negatively affected by public camping

I do not want Renton turning into Seattle which is rampant with graffiti, trash, camping on public streets, parks and the crime and drug use that go along with it.

It's important to keep our city safe for our kids and residents

This is common sense governance that protects the public spaces that we all collectively share. Allowing street encampments do nothing to aid the homeless and only creates unnecessary burdens for citizens and businesses

It can get out of hand and then it can become dangerous for all.

We deserve to live in a safe place. Its basic common sense to have lawmakers honor their Oath of office to serve and protect the citizens Thank you!

I’m concerned about the health and wellbeing of our residences and the risk of hygiene issues, debris and sanitation this would bring to our community

Safety on the street for our kids. Keep streets clean and camp free. All camps in the Seattle area are full of trash, needles and are a health hazard. Keep our community clean and healthy!

Safety is one of the first steps in the Maslow Hierarchy. If you take that away from a Renton citizen, it goes completely against what evolution means and what we strive to achieve as a human species. For someone to live on the streets is inhuman. Moreover, they can get into anybody’s house or property because they may see every space as their own. I am completely against on allowing homeless people to live on Renton’s streets.

It’s so unsafe for the residents and increases crime dramatically

We have a fentanyl drug and mental issue. Stop allowing tents, drug use, garbage/litter, drug dealers, and violence on our streets.

These people leave filth and damage the areas that they park and camp at with zero regard for the public. All of these homeless are drug addicts and we don’t want them around
