It would help them build valuable skills and gain experience in a field that is growing rapidly and shaping the future. By investing in STEM education, FBISD would better prepare students for success in college and future careers.

As a FTC high school Robotics competitor, A dedicated STEM center for FBISD will allow us and many other driven students to expand opportunities and skills. We have had many issues with not having proper materials or tools to complete our tasks, and this STEM center will allow us to have access to tools while providing a safe and educational center for thousands.

Robotics is essential, core skill necessary for today’s tech enabled workforce. FBISD currently lacks support facilitation for STEM-enabled eduction, specifically there is no infrastructure and sponsorship for programs like FTC/FRC, VEX, DI etc. that are core K-12 competitive programs that enable students this baseline skillset while allowing them to collaborate and learn alongside their peers and mentors in a safe, equitable environment.
