The company RGS is using to monitor our screens and data has had data breaches releasing IPs, passwords and personal information of 16 million people because of an employee using a VPN, multiple reports of catastrophic bugs that could give any hacker access to any device on any Ubiquiti network, and are accused and have essentially been proved to be helping Russia in the Ukraine war by selling them networks and satellite uplinks to fly drones and coordinate their forces, willingly and deliberately illegally.

If you want to know what the software actually does, it's this: It scans the network, reading and verifying any data coming through it. This includes what you search up, what apps you use, how long you use them for, and most importantly RECORDING ANY PASSWORDS, PERSONAL INFORMATION AND FINANCIAL DETAILS YOU HAVE STORED ON A BROWSER/DEVICE. As well as this, administrators (teachers) can view your screen at any time you are connected to the network, and for the Y7s-11s who have the app installed on their chromebooks, THEY CAN DO THIS WHEN YOU ARE AT HOME. This is essentially spyware, with the loophole that if you download it, you are TECHNICALLY giving your consent. Absolutely insane.
