The additional congestion alone will be a nightmare! What is all of this going to cost the taxpayers! My farm is on the other side of the creek. I am deeply concerned about the impact it will have with runoff etc. Please deny the rezoning !!!

We know we all need growth in our county but this isn’t growth, this is madness! DR Horton (and every other cookie cutter housing developer) does NOT care about our community or the negative impact it will cause. They only care about making stupid amounts of money and when they are done, they walk away from crowded roads, over crowded schools, major impacts on the emergency response services…They walk away from causing a major increase on our taxes to pay for their mess and all future issues.

There is no infastructure in place for this kind of rash development. I73 will soon require ramps to access roads into Ellisboro. There is not water or sewer here. The roads are small and busy especially during school entrance and exit times. The fire, police, and EMS are not equipped for huge numbers of homes. There are farms surrounding the land, making it extremely dangerous for tractors trying to reach their farms. Schools are not prepared for this kind of influx. Be responsible!

I have lived in the Oak Level Ch Rd, Ellisboro Rd. area my entire life until about 3 years ago and still own a home there. I want it to stay the way it is and not become any more congested on roads, schools, EMS, police, fire, etc.. There is a reason we live the country and don't want houses everywhere taking up farm lands, trees, etc.

We live 2 house's from the 4way stop @ Ellisboro/Sardis Ch. intersection. To date we have total lost 3 cars to rear end collisions, so many mail boxes that I can't keep count, and I can't even begin to tell how many cars have ran through our yard into surrounding fields. More traffic and we may never leave home again. Common sense just doesn't seem to be very common anymore.

We are losing all of our farm/ agricultural land. Bringing more homes into this area would be detrimental to our crops and and growth of wild life that majority of us hunt to live on.
I am opposed to the proposed development of over 1,000 new homes in our area. While I understand the need for growth, a development of this size would have a major impact on the people who already live here. I am concerned about increased traffic and congestion, overcrowding in our schools, added strain on to 911.

I am sincerely concerned about the ability of our Volunteer Fire Dept and EMS to serve more homes. They are already strapped. In addition to the burden on schools, traffic and increased accidents. We own property directly across the Dalton property. And the infrastructure is absolutely not in place. This will destroy the quality of life of those of us who have been here our whole lives.

Entering on to Hwy 220 from Ellisboro, Bald Hill, Gold Hill, et al, is already a dangerous risk which will be exponentially increased with the kind of building & growth proposed. The section of 220 that will be involved has already proven to be deadly and the added traffic from thousands more drivers will be catastrophic.
