Stop the Proposed Bellamy & Ehrlich Gas Station

The development will encroach on existing wetland areas that could effect flooding and will cause traffic issues for us homeowners entering and leaving Bellamy Road. Plus a gas station just isn’t needed in that location, as we have several good options within a 2-3 minute drive already that are not on top of residential communities. Seems like a cash grab by the sellers and not in line with the spirit of the existing neighborhood.

Too close to a school

This would increase traffic that is already challenging. Bad location for a gas station

I live in the neighborhood down that street, along with attend Hillsdale Baptist Church. Destroying that wetland will not only affect thr environment but will add congestion to that area.

The intersection is to busy now. No further development or the tie ups and delays will be overwhelming.

There are already 3 other gas station/convenience stores within a mile. It's totally unnecessary.

I am a resident of one of the neighborhoods nearby and pass the retention pond daily. It is a source of food and shelter for many animals. It is their home, and to see it tainted by any building would be a very unwelcome change.

Do not need another gas station and endangering the wetland . Traffic is already bad and this will cause additional traffic

We have already voted to NOT have a gas station on this corner earlier this year. This area already has horrible traffic congestion with the additional development that is been done the last few years. It's a nightmare to leave Carrollwood meadows in the morning for work/take my kids to school.

How many times do we have to vote that we don’t want this 711 on the corner of Bellamy

I am vehemently opposed to a gas station! The added vehicle volume and delivery trucks will create dangerous congestion right where multiple large neighborhoods enter and exit. There are always environmental risks with underground storage tanks that may affect Rocky Creek. Other effects are noise and light pollution, not to mention decreased property values, for the homes closest to the proposed site. There is a potential for increased crime as well.

More than 700 residents signed the previous petition opposing the original rezoning application. Although that application was withdrawn, the developer has now submitted a revised proposal. While some engineering changes have been made—including right-in/right-out driveways, roadway modifications, reduced wetland impacts, and updated landscaping—the fundamental concerns that brought our community together remain. This proposal is still the wrong development in the wrong location.

This is already a very high traffic area and a gas station would greatly increase traffic in that area. It will create a hazard for those that need to go up and down this road every day. The additional traffic negatively impact the quality of life for the people that live nearby including my family.

Do not need anything with a liquor license next to a church.
