The increase in traffic and confusion at the corner of Ehrlich and Bellamy Roads would reduce safety and devalue our neighborhood. A busy gas station at the only entrance/ exit of Bellamy Road neighborhoods would create daily traffic backups. There are already gas stations a mile to the East or West of this location, we don’t need another.

I adamantly oppose this gas station to be built on corner of Bellamy and Ehrlich. I have lived here for over 30 years and the traffic has significantly increased with just the addition of homes over the years. The many communities that have to enter and exit on this one road, Bellamy has also grown over the years. We have a lot of people bicycling and walking. Traffic gets backed up at the light just from everyday traffic of our residents in these communities. It’s a big mistake.

I have a small child and don’t feel safe with a large influx of strangers turning into our neighborhood. I want my children to ride their bikes and not worry about traffic and strangers in cars.

Another gas station on Ehrlich Road is unnecessary, as several are already located just a few blocks away. It would increase traffic and congestion, especially with three schools nearby, and could negatively impact safety, home values, and the peaceful character of our neighborhood. It would also destroy some of the natural beauty and greenery that makes our area special.

I live in this residential community. This not a commercial area and this is already a high traffic area. Also, we have regulations in place that prohibit the gas station, which is why 7-Eleven is asking for a waiver. This waiver should be denied to protect our children, the landscape & integrity of our community, as well as abiding by the rules already established by this county. Denial of this waiver and project also protects the land.
