Stop the Proposed Bellamy & Ehrlich Gas Station

This is too close to a neighborhood and most importantly a church with a school. We don’t need homeless people that can be violent or be a threat to our children and community.

Keep this residential! There is no need to exercise the wild Zoning options Tampa flexes. There are enough options for gas and convenience stores within 1 and 2 miles West and East of that location.

I'm the pastor of Hillsdale Baptist Church and oppose placing an establishment on the corner of Bellamy Rd. and Ehrlich Rd. that is seeking a permit for alcohol sales. A grave concern is that the proposed permit violates Hillsborough County's own zoning policies. Furthermore, the proposal infringes on existing wetlands and will add to the congestion that is already a danger to our neighbors.

Its already bad enough trying to get onto Ehrlich Rd from Bellamy, this will cause more backups! Also, having this so close to a one way in one way out for hundreds of residents living off Bellamy road cant be good. Consider moving down to where the new fire station is being built on Ehrlich.

There’s plenty of gas stations in the vicinity of this area, this is the main exit for the neighbors of Bellamy rd. and Turtle Creek neighborhood and the gas station traffic will impact commute to work, schools etc

The proposed gas station is not appropriate for this location because it would place a high-traffic commercial use directly next to a residential community that has only one entrance and one exit. Key concerns: * Single point of access * Environmental concerns: Gas stations store and dispense petroleum products. The EPA recognizes that releases from underground storage tanks can contaminate soil and groundwater and can create fire and explosion hazards.

This business is incompatible with the location. The gas station would create hazards for hundred of homeowners in case emergency evacuation is required. If the convenience store plans to sell alcohol, it is too close to the school, by law. Fueling trucks would further impede an already busy corner, adding more congestion. There are already 3 gas stations within 2 miles of this corner.

there are 8-10 convenience/gas stations in a 2 mile radius, including an existing 7-11 0.9 miles. The area does not need another. Also concerns for flooding increases due to reducing the wetlands on the property.
