Too many wetlands already filled in. Over development everywhere. Traffic issues daily on LPGA. Development needs to be halted until the bridge issue is resolved.

That area stays flooded. The streets already flood in heavy storms and hurricanes. The water needs somewhere to go as well as the wildlife. Plus, turning getting out on to LPGA is already dangerous. The traffic patterns need to be corrected before adding more cars.

That particular area remains, flooded during a good portion of the year in order to make that terrain suitable for building. The water must be displaced and go elsewhere. We’re running out of room for that elsewhere. Maybe this poses also great risks in terms of traffic along LPGA, which, despite promises has not been further developed, there is substantial work that is required on the basic infrastructure before this area can support further over development.

There are two reasons for opposing this. One is the protection of our much needed wetlands and a natural drainage area for the LPGA community. The other is that this is a community of Fine Homes and the construction of townhomes will lower everyone’s property values. Daytona Beach already has an apartment and townhome zone on the east side of I-95.
