I believe hemp products help elderly and veterans, people with ailments that these products have been proven safe and effective for years now. Hemp/cannabis products are safer than most pharmaceuticals for seizures, chronic pain, PTSD, arthritis, nausea, cancer treatment effectiveness for appetite, anxiety, depression, ect.
Lawmakers who know nothing nor want to educate themselves about these topics should not be allowed to make these decisions for all who take this medicinal alternative.

I am 75 yrs old and I stopped taking opioids after 15 yrs. My degenerative disc disease is worsening and I need a plant based medicine alternative! I have pain over 79-80% of my body daily.
I should be e able to get some relief without having to go back on opioids in my later years to have some quality of Life. I've earned this right!

I use CBD products medically for anxiety and depression, local dispensaries barely carry CBD flower and if they do its sativa or hybrid varieties, not good for anxiety. I also use CBD oil which is way cheaper online than at dispensaries.

Alcohol and pharmaceuticals have poisoned and killed more people I know than any other cause of death. Hemp, cannabis, or THC should not be villainized, and it should be legal. Ask your police officers who they would rather deal with - someone who’s consumed cannabis, or someone who’s drunk or high on meth, fentanyl, or any other substance. Stop taking bribes from the alcohol and pharmaceutical industries and listen to your constituents for once.
