Congress is rewriting the Farm Bill this December, and corporate monopolies are quietly paying to make independent competition illegal.
Big Alcohol, Big Pharma, and corporate-owned dispensaries are backing an amendment to completely ban the federally legal hemp market created by the 2018 Farm Bill. Why? Because they cannot compete fairly with independent American farmers. They want to kill the decentralized market and force every consumer into their heavily taxed, state-monopolized distribution networks.
If this passes:
- Thousands of independent American farmers and small businesses will be wiped out overnight.
- Consumers will lose access to affordable, natural alternatives and be forced into corporate monopolies.
- The private prison industry will get millions of newly minted non-violent felons to fill their mandatory bed quotas.
We refuse to let corporate lobbyists criminalize everyday people and American farmers just to protect their profit margins. Sign this petition with your ZIP code to verify you are an actual voter. When we reach our goal, this list will be printed and physically dropped on the desks of the lawmakers trying to sneak this ban through.

174 Signatures in Just 21 Hours! Next Goal: 250
October 31, 2026
In just 21 hours, over 170 of you have stepped up to draw a line in the sand. When corporate lobbyists and monopolies try to quietly slip bans into the Farm Bill behind closed doors, they rely entirely on public silence. You are shattering that silence. Every single signature matters, but the personal stories you are leaving in the comments are what will hit lawmakers the hardest when this petition is delivered to their desks: Standing with American Farmers: James Miguel Alcantara, writing from Kentucky, reminded us why this fight belongs to rural America: "Being from a smaller KY town I am extremely pro-farmer and this is just another slap in the face to them!" Rachel Beu echoed that this is "an American right and a major agricultural market" that independent growers built with their own hands—not corporate boardrooms. Protecting Real Patients, Not Monopolies: Donna Goode shared that hemp is the primary balm for severe PTSD, warning that criminalizing it "will unfairly target patients who are suffering." Hannah-Lee Grothaus, living with debilitating daily pain, and Francesca Melio, facing multiple surgeries, explained that accessible plant medicine is vital to basic daily survival. Maria Lindell pointed out the exact failure of the corporate dispensary model: as a senior citizen who relies on full-spectrum CBD for wellness, local dispensaries have zero interest in stocking affordable, everyday remedies. Calling Out Government Overreach: Martin Rubinstein said it plainly: "More government overreach and legislation that indiscriminately punishes people who are just trying to live, this is not the land of the free which I want to live in." These comments capture the human cost of corporate greed. Congress wants to treat hemp like an abstract line item to trade away to Big Pharma and Big Alcohol lobbyists. Your names, ZIP codes, and lived experiences prove otherwise. We are only 76 signatures away from 250. Hitting 250 marks a critical threshold for momentum on this platform. Please take 30 seconds right now to copy this petition link and send it to three people—a family member, a friend who relies on natural wellness, or an independent business owner in your community. Post it in your local community groups and group chats. Let’s blow past 250 before the 24-hour mark closes.

Almost 50 Signatures in Under 3 Hours! Let's hit 100
October 30, 2026
We just hit 49 signatures in only 2 hours and 29 minutes. Thank you to every single person who took 30 seconds out of their day to put their name and ZIP code on this fight. When we print this out for Capitol Hill, it isn't just the numbers that will make them sweat—it is the comments you are leaving. Supporter Alec Rollison nailed exactly what is at stake today, writing, "Freedom is a foundational American right, and we shouldn’t be destroying an industry over greed." Jordan Thomas echoed that same simple truth: "Weed should be legal for everyone." Corporate monopolies and private prison lobbyists bank on our apathy. They think they can sneak this Farm Bill amendment through because nobody is paying attention. You are proving them wrong. Let's keep the momentum moving. Please share this petition link with three friends, post it on your social feeds, or drop it in a group chat right now. Our next immediate goal is 100 signatures. Let's build a paper trail so heavy that Congress cannot ignore it!

Stop trying to privatize the only medicine that has worked for chronically ill people! Hemp is not dangerous!!!
The importance of descheduling and creating a proper regulatory system for all hemp and cannabis products can not be understated. From personal rights to medical advancements, progress and understanding benefits the people as a whole. Instead, by over regulation without understanding, we erase decades of progress. When laws are made to exploit the populace and enrich private entities we, as a country, suffer. We must move forward, never backwards.
I as well as my friends and family use hemp to relieve all sorts of ailments from helping my parents arthritis, to helping my dad with tremors from Parkinsons, to relieving pain from my sciatica, to helping my best friends with restless leg syndrome and insomnia. Also as a bud tender i have seen how these products have helped people first hand. Its so rewarding to see cancer patients come in who can eat, and people with chronic pain kick opiates. These products really help a lot of people.
Hemp is medicine! Leave the plant alone and tax it… It’s changed my life for the better, and there is no replacement for it.
Hemp is a plant and beneficial to all people.
Low thc hemp flower helps with anxiety pain, and as a sleep aid
These products have helped so many. The public deserves access.

Its an American right and a major agricultural market. One that is slowly overshadowing the alchohol industry and should continue to do so. Many people benefit for medical or mental health reasons.
