VOTE NO ON BPOL!!!! Because our tax bills have already gone up 56% in five years. And because we are already taxed 11-23% more than our neighbors in PWC, FXBG & Spotsy.

Enough! There's nothing wrong with slowing growth that fuels demand for services! Stafford residents are not far from having to move away if they don't have high paying jobs, which includes the young and the elderly. It will eventually include those who stop working. We've been here over 30 years and would like to age in place, but the BOS is killing that prospect. Please STOP voting for more taxes!

The part about taxation on gross revenue is in conflict wirh federal taxation rules which only tax profits. This will significantly discourage business growth and investment.

The current tax rate in Stafford County is just ridiculous. To even think of another tax hike, especially in this existing economy, is outrageous. If Stafford provided the proper establishments that created the proper culture in this county we would never have to travel north or south of the county to spend money, which supports other counties…we could spend in our own county, which in itself would create more tax revenue. No mature live music venues, no elegant dining, no movie theaters…

Real estate taxes are too high and will force some people to leave Stafford. Those who remain will have fewer businesses to serve them. Stafford will become a place for the rich.
