Will hurt many business owners. We pay enough on personal property tax, among other taxes. Will cause businesses to re-think keeping their doors open. Money is cyclical and never constant in businesses and adding this tax just increases the pressure of uncertainty as it is.

This BPOL tax will result in increased taxes for my business. The significant fluctuation in gasoline prices are not factored into this tax. I will pay an impactful amount of money

As a business owner, a tax on revenue is a killer. This can easily create scenarios where the business is in the negative for the month (no profit) and still owes additional tax based on their revenue. Many businesses have high revenue and very low profit margins - this tax assumes that revenue = profit which is dangerous and will drive businesses out of our county.
