Loved Stafford! Taxes and Courthouse growth are killing me. Another Data center or housing development... oh we need it for taxes for the County. Then we go shop locally or out to eat and our prices are higher than a county over. Can't afford to buy anything and traveling is getting beyond horrible. They are going to force us all to eventually move for one of these reasons!

Coming from Prince William over 25 years ago, No BPOL was one of the interesting benefits. Now you want to take it away while taxes have increased significantly.
Stop raising taxes and start managing the budget more efficiently. The same thing all business owners and residents have to do.

I strongly oppose changing the business tax from one based on net profit to one based on gross receipts. Gross revenue is not profit. A business can bring in substantial revenue and still make little or no profit after payroll, rent, insurance, supplies, equipment, and other expenses.

Because we are already taxed to death enough is enough. You’re building these schools that are going to be obsolete before they even get open. You are allowing builders to build on every piece of property. They can find you are making harder on the individuals that have lived in this county for 100 years with their families and paid taxes every year
