We own Towne Barbers. Covid hurt us terribly. Now more and more it's harder to make ends meet. Another raise in taxes would help eliminate another Mom and Pop establishment.

As a former business owner we have to keep our cost down and with the increase in product prices, we can't compete with the " MOONLIGHTERS" that don't pay taxes on their products or service or have expenses such as insurance, workman's compensation etc...

So disappointed in Stafford representative. Feel they are trying to chase people out of Stafford County.

Enough with paying more. We who work pay enough, and are absorbing the ones that don’t work. Enough is enough.

I can't believe that Stafford county is raising taxes again and aiming at BPOL. First, this was supposed to be a business friendly county. We have so many small businesses. Perhaps the larger ones may not feel the effects as badly but smaller certainly will. You wanted your new town of Stafford to have boutique restaurants and shops on your walk down street. How will you attract small businesses to this envisioned concept if you tax them outrageously? Furthermore, I thought we were adding Data

The county should reward local professionals for establishing businesses, not punish them with a tax.

As a small business owner we do not need any more taxes imposed upon us. If the county government needs more money consider a small sales tax increase so that outsiders/travelers pay into our local economy and cut cut wasteful spending

I am nearly Broke/Bankrupt by the 20th of every month since I was forced to retire early from the U.S. DEPARTMENT of STATE! More taxes will end up Bankrupting me!

I agree that an additional tax is bad for the business and the consumer.

I don't want to pay any more taxes than I already pay. Being fiscally responsible is the only way to go, not raise our taxes. This tax will affect Everyone in the form of higher prices across the board.

As a 72 year old single female we do not need any further taxes in Stafford County. We are already being taxed out of the county. Those on fixed incomes are having a hard enough time with increases on utilities, insurance, food etc.
