We are taxed way too much through real estate in this county already. As a small business many of us will not be able to survive...say no to this tax!

I took a big step saved up my money and finally am opening my own business . It has cost me a good bit set up and get everything that I need and now I'm just finding out that I have to pay tax for the mirror my clients have to sit in front of. Not only did the people who I lease from try2pass on the personal property tax as part as the lease agreement, but here I am possibly having to pay another huge tax. just trying to get my family ahead not trying to get rich. small businesss won't survive

The current policy of not having the BPOL tax was a major contributing factor for us to locate our business in the County over 30 years ago.

The tax assessed on the businesses will flow directly to all of us.
In addition the message to new companies will be to go elsewhere. Not good for the future of this area.

It will not cut my property taxes. Tax will be passed on to my family and it will deter the commercial growth that already pays about a third of the county budget.

Bad idea. Once this tax is added it will never go away and only increase over time. Definitely will deter new business startups especially since it is based on revenue rather than net income generated.
