I oppose the implementation of new and or higher taxes in Stafford County. We already are adjusting to recent real estate tax adjustments, pay personal property tax, have a restaurant carry out tax, a rising sales tax and more. My observation is that the community does not support local restaurants and businesses well, evidenced by the empty strip mall spaces along Garrisonville Rd and the lack of development of the former Aquia Town Center. I oppose the BPOL.

This is not good for small businesses, especially when the tax is on Gross Receipts. This means that you will be paying this tax even if your profit is zero or less, thus making it very hard to stay in business!

I am sick of data centers receiving tax priority over the citizens of Stafford. Enough is Enough! Bring in new business and let a tax base grow from there. Get better ideas!

Stafford needs a variety of businesses and new residents and visitors in order grow. Taxing the businesses that choose stay in Stafford, who will pass the costs onto an already over stretched populace will be harmful to the people you serve.

Keep Stafford attractive to businesses! Given the federal workforce reductions in 2025, we should continue strengthening our local economy by diversifying beyond federal employment and creating an environment where small businesses can invest, grow, and create jobs in our community.

I am a business owner and the recent increase in all taxes has put a hurt on all people in the surrounding communites. Enough is enough This BPOL tax is going to cause me my company to raise prices even more. Or I will close my doors and let area loose one of the most honest business's in the area. FED UP
