I'm signing this because I was aiming for top 1 of my class, but that's all gone just because of this FREAKING GRADING SYSTEM. I was known as the one with the best grammar and mathematical logic with basically everyone, until now, my efforts won't even be SLIGHTLY recognized. Where's the motivation if we won't be rewarded for our hard work? We study restlessly for exams, we stress over every small detail for our performance tasks just for most of us to get a low, even failing, score?

I honestly agree. Just imagine having the only thing that motivates you on going to suddenly is taken away by the department of education. It's really dissapointing!

All kids are NOT perfect, we are just kids who try to do the best we can in our social studies. Is our hard work and effort in projects tests and other assesments just.. gone? wasted? our mental health matters.

I fear that I was born in the wrong country, and at this point, the Philippines is so corrupt that it is now COMPARABLE to the USA and Donald Trump. Living here makes it even harder as a Transgender Atheist, and I'm only 5th grade but I can clearly see how bad the world has become. I love and hate The Philippines, and I hope that these times will pass by us, and we'll be a stable country again.
(FYI: The Philippines is also known is The Bullying Capital of The World.)

Many kids already work very hard to even pass the grade, and they raise it to 70%? We work very hard to even pass so we need some rest at least, we are NOT robots that can work 24/7 for 1 year straight.

I am signing this mainly because deped decided to remove the honor system, which is really important to me and other students out there. I want them to add it back, so students actually can be determined to try in school. Without the honor system, its no longer competitive nor exciting. They just want us to study, perfect example of "high risk, no reward" my father once told me, everytime i get in this rank, i get a prize. So what happened to that? Its gone, because deped decides to remove honor

stop pressuring us, deped.
