Stop "Marchner Estates" Development Concept, Penfiled, NY

I grew up in Webster. I lived on Marchner Rd in the early 80’s. It was peaceful and a safe place for children. Now the Webster I knew is unrecognizable. I could ride my bike literally anywhere and be safe. That is not the case now. Too many cars. This subdivision will add much more traffic and destroy animal habitats. Website has lost its charm. So sad to see

Canyou just rezone land that is sitting unused like the old Rite Aid sitting vacant, or the numerous Xerox buildings??? Why do you have to destroy green space to build anew? Be thoughtful of what you’re doing.

Webster needs to stop growing. It’s bursting out of its seam with all the traffic. I grew up in Webster and at one time it was a nice quiet little town. It’s reached its capacity and then some. No more!!!

This road was a road i traveled on my bike in the 60s and 70s this is so sad we can't leave one piece of land alone must we develop all of land in webster we have way to much traffic and our roads are getting ruined and not fixed please let this property have some purpose not any more tracks

I agree - the current infrastructure and roadways are not capable of accommodating this capacity. Coming from Raleigh NC please don’t agree to these developments looking to build fast, low quality homes (a single family home on 8,000 sq ft?).

We live nearby. Too much development is taking away from the country scape we enjoy. Let’s not turn into another Henrietta. Besides, Rte 250 is already becoming congested. It should remain zoned as is.

We literally don't need more houses being built. No one can afford any of these, the animals are losing their homes. It's completely unnecessary. Let the land be. Just because it is there doesn't mean it needs to be touched and destroyed to build houses

I am not in favor of this development. The increase in traffic trying to turn down Marchner Rd off 250 can be challenging now . It will ruin the peaceful setting of this road. It is one of the nicest road to walk down with minimal traffic. The increase in the population will affect the Webster school district.
