This behaviour does not create a family friendly environment for locals and visitors alike. The constant noise disrupts what should be a peaceful and pleasant neighbourhood.

As a resident of the affected area I am weary of the excessive traffic noise in my street, namely Foote St. Mooloolaba.

I am the onsite manager at North Point Apartments in the corner of Pacific Terrace and Alexandra Parade. I have had Holiday makers leave because of the excessive revving and speeding if bikes and cars which is an absolute constant here. Now, I totally understand we are on a main thoroughfare however,I am sure there can be measures put in place to minimise this behaviour

The excessive noise of vehicles is destroying the lifestyle myself and so many others. It's terrible near the surf club (River Esplanade) and Parkyn Parade. Someone will be killed if nothing is done.

No rest day or night from excessive noise and speeding of cars and motorbikes up River Esplanade and along Parkyn Parade (including the Wharf carpark). We live here and have seen many near misses with pedestrians. It ruins our life much of the time.

We own a holiday apartment in Parkyn Parade and we are concerned and deeply worried regarding the hooning in front of our property as we holiday with lots of small children and also elderly parents and it is very dangerous for them and also very loud noise which wakes everyone up - not what anyone wants especially when on vacation and trying to relax .

This is an issue in other Sunshine Coast locations as well, especially on Kawana Way and Lake Kawana Boulevard in Birtinya and needs to be addressed urgently by police and council everywhere at the Sunshine Coast!

Because a friend is in hospital in Newcastle that was run over by a dangerous driver also hitting 10 other people these drivers should have their vehicles crushed and license suspended for life as well as jail! If cars get confiscated e-bikes motorcycles as well on the first offence and crushed the behaviour will disappear within 12 months

I dont even live in Mooloolaba however I believe that something needs to be done to make excessive noise in built up areas unlawful. Harley's, Mustangs, high performance vehicles and the list goes on should firstly pay an excessive noise tax and also be fined for excessive noise in built up areas. Some of these vehicles can be driven to ensure noise is minimised like move from first gear to a higher gear. There is a 50km speed limit on aerodrome road in front of the Sebel, some are well over.

The noise from hooning cars, and in particular, motorbikes has increased significantly over the five years since we moved to Sixth Avenue. Besides the noise, it poses a danger to pedestrians and other drivers. Please do something about this excessive noise issue!

I live on Cotton Tree Parade and we have the same issue. The speed limit is 30kph but hoons on motor bikes and drivers of excessively loud utes mainly ignore that and rev and roar along the street. It’s a very heavily accessed pedestrian road with only 2 crossings which are in the wrong place! Someone will be hurt if this is not stopped. The peaceful enjoyment of our home and surrounds is being destroyed

I was so happy to discover the local community taking action on this as I am constantly disturbed by the excess noise and particularly at night, often waking me up from my sleep

Great place to visit. However the noise is unbearable due to the vehicular activities and a danger to anyone nearby. I would rather find another costal area which is quieter next time I visit.
