I feel we should do all that we can to avoid encroachment on nature spaces. Especially seeing vacant lots in the cambridge area. A lot of developers might disagree but Nature is important, in fact it's is crucial!

Once lost, such beautiful spaces are lost forever, especially upsetting when the wetlands there are important for regional water supplies. There are other, less environmentally sensitive areas where this development could be located.

We use this trail daily and cannot fathom it being paved over. There are many other viable areas in Cambridge to be developed. Including all the current vacant lots in the neighbouring subdivision.

Because tired of the City tearing up all the natural beauty we once had for houses. Where are all the animals going they are all being displaced. This is pathetic let's preserve nature. Waterloo Region looks disgusting born and raised here not what it used to be with all these ugly rat houses. Furthermore isn't is bad enough you allowed AMAZON? All in the name of money but yet my taxes and everything keep increasing.

Devil's creek watershed supplies Cambridge with good, natural water. We can't keep desimating our water sources for the sake of large housing developments. We already have water supply issues in Kitchener. Eliminating a sourse in Cambridge makes no sense

There is no reason why this land should be developed. Its proximity to a watershed and questionable urban planning should turn development elsewhere. Citizens need nature trails like this to walk/relax.

I constantly see complaints of coyotes and other animals spotted in the city. Perhaps if we stopped building and pushing them out of their wilderness, this wouldn’t be an issue…
