My student should be able to use their personal laptop to complete their schoolwork and not a laptop that has touched many hands and Homes and not sanitized.

I feel as the phone ban is unfair and unnecessary to many students.

The community would like this to be stopped so that we can contact parents in an emergency also some students finish their work faster than others so they would have something to do during free time.

I feel like teens should have their phone because of safety, incase they get in emergencies and need someone to get quickly. I feel like kids will be more miserable in school without their phones. Kids need their devices because some cannot afford to buy the devices the school provides.

School are not safe enough today for phones to be banned, there is so much violence and an increase in school shootings over the years, banning phones is not the right way to go about this at all.

Because phones aren’t the problem. Phones, music, can help with the focus of students more than you can realize and schools are not safe enough to stop us from using phones

Because having our phones is our right and if anything were to happen we would have no way of contacting our parents or guardian. ALSO, because cobb county don’t pay my phone bill, MY MOMMA DO !!!

This is stopping people from using their devices for any instances. This is extremely dangerous since the rise of school shootings dont seem to be decreasing any time soon which can effect students from messaging and updating parents if anything were to happen.

Phones should not be banned in schools because students should have the right to use them. Phones help us stay in contact with our families, especially during emergencies, and they can also be used to look up information, complete assignments, and stay organized. Most students know when it's appropriate to use their phones, and those who misuse them should be disciplined instead of punishing everyone. Banning phones takes away a useful tool that can make learning easier and help students feel sa

This is super important to me because in case of any emergency we cannot depend on them to call authorities..plus i pay for my own phone bill, i pay for everything in this phone so therefore they cannot and WILL not be taking my property.

This phone ban will not improve the test scores that people are hoping to raise. For many students, phones help block out distractions, reduce stress, and keep them out of trouble by giving them something positive to focus on during free time. Electronics are not the real issue that schools should be focused on. Phones also help us communicate with friends, capture memories through pictures and videos, and stay connected with our families. School should not feel like JAIL.

Because in some part of life there will be a situation when you’ll need your phone, and nobody pays for anybody’s phone so it isn’t fair or right even the people who made these rules know they’ll need their phone so why make them?
