Stop Changing decoration rules at Greenlawn Cemetery

I have eleven loved ones at green lawn. I set out flowers three different times.I now have purchased total of 33 vases that are over $5 a piece plus the flowers I make the bouquets. I always pick up my vases and flowers and reuse them. . this year, that's not the case. 3 times now they have been missing. I was told I could go look in the dumpster, or in trash pile, and see if I could find them. A sign read all flowers to be removed before Aug.1 i was there July 23rd. They all were gone!

We spend our hard earned money to decorate & make our loved ones headstones look nice just for the objects to be thrown away , stolen or moved it’s sickening . These things aren’t trash !! It’s how we grieve and remember our passed loved ones .

Because it is not OK to remove stuff that families have placed on their loved ones grave. It’s disgusting and it’s disrespectful not just to the family but the loved one that they lost you didn’t pay for it. Don’t put your hands on it and people pay good money for that spot. Let them do as they will.

Loved ones face enough pain after losing a loved one. This is an insult to injury. Emotional pain! Taking what belongs to the family and throwing away money. It’s WRONG!!

We can no longer give our angel loved ones a birthday or Christmas or just-for-fun gift. Placing a few things on their grave sites that they would’ve loved or reminds us of them alive is healing for so many of us. To take this away is cruel, sickening, and evil.

I have a bunch of different family members buried there. And I am usually up that way every week at least once I week. I usually decorate all our families graves on the same day while I am there. And by the next week that I go to visit again everything that I have did is gone. I do not put things on there and leave them for months at a time. I remove holiday things short after they are over and bring them home or throw them away if damaged. So why are the things being removed from their graves?

I have relatives buried there and this is crazy. We being told how we can decorate our loved ones final resting place. They’ve managed to mow around the decorations for years without any problems.
