I have children that are in baseball and love practicing in the back yard.

My kids all play a different sport. My youngest baby absolutely loves baseball. I pay for and OWN the home WE as a family live in. It is absolutely absurd to me, that an HOA can dictate what my children do in the comfort of their own back yard.

Overstepping by the HOA. Be different if basketball hoops were up and down the streets and the batting nets are in the middle of the road.

The HOA is overstepping their areas of responsibility. This will not stand!

We have 5 children and we are active outdoors playing all sorts of games and activities. This ban has gone way too far.

Kids need activities to keep them busy, stop taking things away from children and parents. Who cares if they have a sports net in their backyards. Let the kids play! Let the parent teach them how to play. Worry about the grass you control and not the grass in families backyards.

I strongly feel like it’s not HOA’s business on what homeowners have in their backyards!

This is one of the most ridiculous rules the HOA is trying to implement. My backyard=my business. 😎🥅⚽️

Government overreach isn’t what will bring the community together, except to protest how wild it is.

The HOA is way to heavy handed in the regulations they are pushing. They have lost touch with the major issues like financial responsibility, maintaining and allowing access to the common areas, and helping the residents instead of harassing them. I have heard of not a single complaint from any resident of Tavola regarding baseballs/netting.

This very well could impact my children and I don't believe the board should have this authority.

As a direct neighbor, I support allowing the batting cage to remain. It has never been a nuisance or disruption to us, and the owners have always been respectful and considerate of their neighbors. I believe the enforcement and escalating costs associated with this issue are excessive and disproportionate to any actual impact on the surrounding community.

HOA has no right to tell us what we can and cannot do in our private backyards. The end of their dictatorship is going to come to an end when this community come together to fight back.
