Signing this for the same reason's other schools have school zones. It's a no brainer and doesn't need an argument created or pointed out in favour of a school zone in front of a school. Keep in mind while Terra is letting out, High School is speeding through, along with class changes at UBTech (so traffic both ways for them). Just slow it down and make a tunnel, walk over, or crosswalk with lights, to cross the street.

Both my boys go to Terra and the pick up and drop off situation is ridiculous!! The high schoolers speed up and down the road it’s scary!!

Terra is a pick up/drop off only school which means all the kids will be outside near the road, it’s also a curvy road. People need to be alerted that they are in a school zone!

I have 4 kiddos who attend Terra. Not only is their safety important to me all the kids and family deserve consideration of traffic control.

Parent of Terra students. Traffic is crazy when school lets out. For kids who walk or ride bikes it’s scary because the traffic is going 35 while they let out.

Why are the children and Terra not as worthy of a school zone as the kids at the local public schools? Every child deserves to be protected!

All school zones should have signs to help keep children safe. I am a resident Vernal.

I’ve seen first hand the way that people speed and drive down Aggie Blvd. Whenever myself or someone else is trying to cross the road to walk to the church across the street no one slows down, no one stops. There’s absolutely no reason that that road should be 35 in such an active and busy school zone. Especially a school that has children of all ages coming and going in the early morning and afternoon with no buses and x3 more traffic than any other one of the schools in the area.
