This development is a travesty in the area.

It is completely out of character and will ruin the village. Mosman council has ignored their responsibility and provided 2 completely inappropriate purported solutions to the out lem… what happened to common sense and approving smaller more sympathetic 2/3 storey solutions? Ridiculous and shows complete lack of undertaking of the environment, stresses on infrastructure and community needs.

Apart from significantly changing the character of the area, Mosman does not have sufficient infrastructure to support the substantial increase in population that this overdevelopment will bring.

Too High Too Intrusive Totally disregards the neighbours, of which there will be hundreds affected by overshadowing, loss of sunlight and loss of views. Does Nothing permanent to increase affordable housing. A greedy developer without any conscience, totally money driven and unconcerned about the future impact this would have.

I strongly object to the proposed 30-metre high-rise development in this Mosman residential area. A building of this scale is completely out of character with the surrounding streetscape and would set a damaging precedent for overdevelopment in a low-rise residential neighbourhood. Mosman’s appeal lies in its human-scale village atmosphere, established homes, mature trees, harbour setting, and careful balance between density and amenity.

The NSW state govt has to stop working for developers who are only building wealthy, ugly, apartments. This is not about building needed homes, there will be less homes the way it is going. This view should stay for the public, the neighbours, people visiting the area - not for the few people wealthy enough to buy these apartments. The State govt needs to start working for the people, not just the developers.

Heritage preservation, fair sharing of view

The way this is being forced upon Mosman is horrible. The comments of “it’s fair” are just wrong. No one was saying this 20/30 years ago. It’s lazy policy from the government. Make more hubs around Sydney and decentralise the city. The infrastructure also can’t keep up.

It’s our history! Everything/place does not need to be destroyed! Some need to be preserved

This is an absolute abomination. If this style of development is allowed, the Mosman we all know and love will be gone forever. Already there have been too many buildings popping up which are completely out of keeping with the local neighbourhood. There has been no thought or consideration given to local sentiment, environment, traffic, infrastructure, or the village atmosphere that is so deeply treasured. STOP THIS NOW BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

This is an iconic view, something we all enjoy and appreciate. Don’t leave it to the privileged few.
