The BIA provides a way for small businesses to showcase their products and services to a local market and beyond. Events like the Stirling Market allow for opportunities to connect with like minded business owners and customers, for growth, and for residents outside of Stirling to visit our little town and see what we have to offer.

I've been to every farmer's market since I've moved to Stirling just two months ago. It's something I look forward to every week. I stock my fridge with local produce and have pride in my new community. Having grown up on a small farm I understand how important it is to support small producers. I hope that the hard work of the BIA is acknowledged and these types of events continue so my family and I may participate within, and support, our new community.

The work that the BIA has done to make Stirling feel like a place to go, not just pass through can't be overstated. As a vendor at the Markets, my business relies on these events and as a person who lives in the area I have made so many connections because of them. Dissolution is not the answer.

I love the farmers' market and come as often as I can. Also the holiday market is a great event. Both these events and others create community in Stirling and make it a destination spot for visitors. We need to support the BIA that in turns supports such important initiatives.

The Stirling BIA has been an integral component in the development of our community and is evidenced by the successful events/initiatives that they have spearheaded over the years.

I believe the BIA is an integral part of a small town like Stirling. The markets and events bring the town together and also bring people from surrounding areas in as well. It is not only the vendors at the markets that would feel the impact of losing them, but the residents and visitors . I personally am not aware of what might be driving this thought of council to dissolve the BIA, but I strongly disagree with its

The greatest pride of Stirling is its community events and gatherings, particularly those that affect the spirit of the downtown core of the town. Please allow these things to conitnue to thrive and bring life to this village.

Council has enough on their plates that they handle with pure mediocrity at best. The BIA has been a community recharger and connector. Their initiatives are supported by Stirling-Rawdon residents and bring a lot of outside attention to our small community. If change is needed, the BIA needs to be given appropriate opportunity to resolve the issues council has raised. Council should not be taking over these initiatives! We need only to look at our roads to know what the outcome would be.

The outdoor market has become an important event for Stirling. It gives local vendors, artists, makers, farmers, and small businesses an opportunity to share what they do, connect with new customers, and be part of the community. The market gives people a reason to come out, spend time together, meet their neighbours, and support local businesses. It brings energy into the village and creates a welcoming place where people can gather and feel connected.
