Sports can have such a positive impact on children, especially when they are part of a community-based program that encourages inclusion, mentorship, and personal growth. CYO gives children a place to feel like they belong while learning how to work with others, handle challenges, and build healthy habits that can benefit them throughout their lives.

My grandson has played in it, my son coaches, my daughter in law works the snack bar, plus their cousin helps keep score. The family is very committed to making this program a success. They are not just getting a free ride. They are putting in the volunteer hours that are required for the success of any program.

We are so upset about this decision. Both of my sons played for St. Peters for many years. The kids need this. I have other family members with younger kids. They were going to join CCD and follow their cousins footsteps with basketball. Now they won't get that opportunity and they will be leaving the parish completely

St. Peters basketball has been a part of my kids and now my grandkids lives for decades. The coaches, volunteers, families, teammates, skills, faith, and life lessons we’ve all encountered at St. Peter’s has help to create and form our community. It’s been a safe place for kids to learn to become a part of a team, practice their faith, and grow as individuals. To take that away from our children is so disheartening. Please reconsider and give our youth a place to play, grow, learn.
