Masters do not decide cargoes to load. The Indian government is the buyer. Don't prosecute the weak link. Hold the government of India liable if UK has the guts or true sense of justice.

Why is a Master being held responsible?? And why has his case been shunted to December?? And why has he not been out on bail at least?? Is he a criminal that the British government is acting in this manner?? Do they not realise that he is acting under orders from his Company. This is blatantly criminal and the IMO and Nautical Institute should intervene and protect this innocent man. Shame on the British Government for acting in this criminal manner.

I am also navigating officer as we are aware that we are just doing our duty, and it’s not a fault of captain its fault of company and charters, now charterer and owner should do something to relive master as soon as possible

This illegal detention of our Seafarers needs to stop. They are the backbone of the world economy, they should be treated with more respect.

Injustice on a seafarer's part.He is just an innocent employee doing his job.In my opinion he is being victimized and then punished just because of economic dispute between two countries.

This is really unfair to victimise seafarer on this geo political issue. He has nothing to do with the criminal activity. Only governments and ship owners take decisions. Seafarers only obey instructions. So pls consider releasing the arrested seafarer.
