The Board will soon discuss the “Scope, Cost, and Structure” of an independent investigation after Swiney’s arrest. Simply put: Scope = full transparency on NDAs, settlements, and vetting failures; Cost = you had unlimited money for golden parachutes and failed policies, so none should be an issue now; Structure = restore safety, standards, and accountability. Should have been gone a long time ago! The citizens tried to make those in charge listen but once again greed for money came before parents and these abused children. His goodby package is unbelievable. The taxpayers that he ignored now must take money from our schools and give to this pervert protecter!
I am an ACPS parent and family council member who has been affected by the current school board’s actions regarding sexual abuse of children.
Children in the school system have been negatively impacted by Haas policies. In this case, criminal activity has occurred impacting our school children. This is gross negligence and he should have been fired for cause.
Our children should be protected. The parents should be able to know their children are safe when we leave them in their hands and this school board has not showed good choices and decisions that we teach our children to make this board is not setting a very good example I for one I’m not trusted to Elmer County public schools to send my daughter and feel comfortable that she’s safe.
Got to stop the left’s takeover of Virginia
As an ex Virginian, So sad and sick to my stomach to see what Virginia has become under communist CIA swamp vile governor spanberger.
Because these liars and traitors should be held accountable for their deception and corruption .

The school board renewed Haas contract in private behind, closed doors and gave him multiple raises without any public comment or transparency!!!
