Mike is a staple in the golf community. He’s integral to the success of Northern Hills. Losing him will be a huge mistake. We all want him back.

Mike has been the heart of Northern Hills for as long as he has worked at the course. He genuinely loves the job, and under his leadership, he has fostered a welcoming atmosphere in both the Men's Club and the course in general. We have the largest Men's Club in the city, and Mike is a major reason for that. He makes an effort to know everyone and always pairs new members with more senior members to help them feel welcome.
Moving forward without him would be loss for the city, course, and club.

Manny from day one made northern feel like home when I first moved to roch. Truly amazing what he makes northern hills. Losing him would be a huge deficit to the Rochester city golf community.

People will always make mistakes and lapses in judgement, it shouldn't necessarily equate to losing your job. Politics aside, everyone deserves a chance to do better the next time. Mike has been instrumental in making Northern Hills great again!

Not just the Men’s Club! Mike has been instrumental in keeping the NHWGL up in member numbers, way over the SF and EW leagues. He mentored a group of young ladies to learn the rules of golf and then encouraged their participation in our league to grow the game of golf in Rochester.

Have worked under Mike’s direction for 12 plus years
He’s always been fair, professional, in his treatment of the individuals working with him. I feel he has not been given a fair chance in this situation.

I’ve been a men’s club member for 25 years. Our club has gotten better and bigger year after year. I truly believe this is because of our leadership of the league which is largely due to Mike Manahan. We need Mike here to keep our club and course moving in the right direction.

My heart goes out in support of Mike - the person - he has always been welcoming and encouraging to me and my family as we have grown to enjoy and appreciate Northern Hills more and more each year - I truly believe the course has been on a strong improving trend for the past 5 years and I credit some of that improvement to Mike’s presence and leadership. I support Mike and wish him all the best. I hope this turn of events will become part of what makes him an even stronger person going forward

Mike has been instrumental in making Northern Hills Golf Club what it is today for the many diverse patrons that frequent the course. From the men’s and ladies’ leagues to the many fund raisers and tournaments he’s helped organize and successfully managed. Mike has significantly enhanced the golf culture at Northern Hills aiding in the growth of golf patrons and the success of the clubs. It would be a shame to lose someone who put so much into his livelihood for the benefit of others.
