I live next to 28 Mont Kiara. It is very dangerous as traffic is from all directions at the junction. Everyone’s safety is at stake. I feel so stressed when leaving for work and coming home to the heavy traffic at the junction.

Yes is very important because I saw from the first day car crash and after it happened few times more. This situation is creating also safety risk when rush time to go out of the condo because cars are the crossing of existing which push resident to force the way and when turning right from condo to Jalan Kiara there is blind spot on the left. Already resident hit motorcycle.

I,myself is facing difficulties in making right turn every morning after departing from MK 28 as motorbykes and cars are coming from all the way! Strongly hope that proper traffic signal be introduced asap.

The opening of this new road has severely compromised the safety, security, and livability of Mont Kiara community. What used to be a peaceful neighborhood street have now been transformed overnight into a chaotic, congested highway bypass. Most of the users are not residents of Mont Kiara but uses the residential roads to get to Sprint Highway from Segambut and Kepong.

The new road is a burden to Mont Kiara residents, especially those living near it. A proper study should have been done before deciding on the new road.

I live at Mont' Kiara Banyan, next to MK28, and the traffic congestion has indeed worsened since the road access has opened from Jalan Kiara 3 to Jalan Duta Kiara. Every morning, I struggle to exit my condo as there is heavy traffic on Jalan Kiara and cars are sitting in the yellow box. Similarly, in the evening, there is a traffic queue towards my condo starting from Almaspuri. This was not the situation before this new road opened up.

100% the junction is currently a mess
1) smart traffic lights
2) regulate vehicle types (height) using the bridge
3) better enforcement of cars parking at the side of the roads
4) lines n arrows to indicate travel direction.

I take that road to work everyday and much as I understand the convenience, I'm concerned about the safety of the cars going around there as I have seen delays and jams that are not normal

If road users can all understand how to navigate the T junction that will help. I find that no one knows who has the right of way now as they approach the T junction.

I live in Mont Kiara Banyan, just near 28 Mont Kiara. We have the same problem. And when the new development which will be constructed in the parcel (today parking) between Banyan and 28 MK, the situation will be catastrophic !!!! God help us!

I'm concerned about the risks to my young kids. Drivers pull in and out very quickly to avoid traffic, which may prevent them from thoroughly checking for children crossing.

The current traffic situation is unacceptable and has significantly affected the daily lives of residents. Access to and from our condominium should not be compromised by the increased traffic volume. We urge the relevant authorities to review the current road layout, traffic management and traffic flow, and implement effective measures as soon as possible.
