Starlink has made many facets of cruising much safer, but most cruisers live on budgets of under US$40K. We're not the multi-millionaires that many people think we are. We can't afford the Global Priority plans. Please reconsider your decision to change the way that the Unlimited Roam plan works, &/or let us change our base location more often.

We bought SL when we were in Spain with the boat so SL thinks our home country is Spain. We left there three years ago. We are Dutch passport holders but do not have a home in NL. In fact our boat is our home and our residence is where the boat is. We do not have property anywhere. We are nowhere registered as a resident. Returning to Spain for a reset just because we bought the unit there is absurd. The new T&C’s would be killing for us. The new plan is also becoming too expensive.

The sailing community is small compared to starlink's overall market and should not be penalized because we move around. Not all sailors and cruisers are super wealthy and we have become dependent on the safety Starlink provides. it seems specious to pick on such a small market when the cost of the service is essentially the same worldwide.

We need to track weather apps, NOAA, navionics and more as we prepare for passages between islands and countries. It is essential for our safety. This new policy would make it impossible for us to have that internet connection. Please reconsider.
