As a cruising sailor who spends months hopping around between different countries, the limit definitely affects the viability of having Starlink in the first place.

We are retired, full time cruisers with a limited budget and rely on Starlink for safety and communication. There’s no way we can afford the new roaming plan.

As a family that lives aboard our sailboat and travels away from our home country for years at a time these new restrictions make things difficult or impossible for us.

There are so many customers who love starlink and I hope you can realise this market of loyal customers and make a plan that includes them because if not as soon as competition comes out these customers will run to them

Starlink is the game changer which allowed me to set sails a year ago.
Safety at sea with afordable internet connection, was the key element for that.

The reason you buy the Marin application is to be able to travel without any problems with connectivity. Using the country as a way of controlling the freedom of movement is wrong. It should be regions and with an easy way of transferring between the regions due to cost, regulation differences .

I'm a yacht delivery skipper so obviously sailing all over the world. I purchased my mini in Mozambique a few years ago and constantly need to have the unit sent by courier back to Mozambique to start the reset........ pathetic! I'll continue using my iridium go thank you 👍

It's important to me because it would be useful to most sailors. For me in particular, I do not use that much data and cannot localized in French Polynesia anyway, so this petition does serve my interests directly but I know that it would assist many people.
I love Starlink and wil defend Elon and co to the end for working tirelessly for our luxury.
I do not think starlink is a requirement for travel, but a beautiful luxury, and I think people can and should pay for it or go without.

We use roam for buisness purposes and school. Switching to a priority plan makes it cost prohibative to be able to continue with the life we built around your services. To us this is a global product without boarders and that should be the way it stays.
