I purchased the starlink mini 12 months ago to use on my liveaboard sail boat. The price increase will mean I will have to cancel the service. I have used the starlink for about 8 month now and love the freedom it gives me. Please allow a subscription that will allow us to move countries that is not expensive.

Our home port is Mexico. When we sail our small boat (not a yacht with paid crew owned by a corporation or mega-millionaire) around the globe it will be cost prohibitive to use Starlink. Please find a solution for those that want to use Starlink but don’t have deep pockets. I thought Musk’s vision was to make it affordable to all. There should be a Starlink marine section with leadership who will shape policy to be affordable/practical/logical in the unique maritime roaming environment.

We are full time liveaboards cruising up and down the Caribbean islands and other part of the world. Using Global Unlimited and happy with service but 30 day limit in one country when we move from country to coutry on a regular basis every few weeks could be a serious problem. Starlink have already decided the whole of Europe is one country and the whole of USA and Canada is one country/region so surely the Caribbean islands could also all be considered one country/region.

Hello, I've been using starlink for several years since gen2. I have not quite digested the planned changes to roam subscriptions. I really wish the curent pricing stayed in place. Roam unlimited plus per GB at sea is good.

I have had Starlink since it was first available to the public. I shared my praises of the company with millions of people through my social influencer pages. Now, SpaceX has turned its back on the sailing community and put us in precarious positions of choosing safety versus saving money. I am a huge Elon fan, but this is a greedy, monopoly driven campaign to exclude the cruising community. Having had the tech for 5 years, we should be grandfathered in.

I am a full time live aboard sailor who travels internationally full time. We rely on Starlink for work and most importantly safety at sea. Removing the roam plan is removing us from access to the internet. Starlink was meant to bring us into the future and allow us to be connected, now that’s being removed for financial reasons. With the changes suggested it is not possible for us to afford to stay connected with priority plans and therefore removing us from Starlink.

This policy change does not appear to be for regulatory purposes, but to drive people into an expensive over the top global priority tier. Most of us are living on boats that cost the same as an RV, i.e. $100-200K. We don't have super yachts. I am a full time sailing cruiser. I cannot take my SL dish back to the U.S. every 30 days. I am spending 6-9 months cruising in Mexico before heading south to Panama.
