Because we live on our yacht and have no land based home. This policy disproportionately affects the cruising community, digital nomads, and long-term travelers who have supported Starlink from its early days. Many of us depend on Starlink not only for convenience but also for weather routing, navigation updates, safety communications, emergency information, banking, and staying in contact with family. I respectfully ask Starlink to reconsider this policy.

This service has become an essential safety feature of blue water cruising. Not all blue water cruisers are wealthy. Charge a reasonable amount but not make it impossible for most of us.

As a sailor the Roam plan was perfect. We live on a pension that does not support buying global priority I will likely cancel my Starlink

Also a sailor, everything said it’s 100% true. The new way is taking the safety we had found and the reason why we have choreen Starlink.

As a full time sailing cruiser the new 30 day change of country rules are very impractical.

Starlink is an important safety net for us and helping other boaters in distress around us. The new regulations limiting roaming to 30 days and forcing users to adopt a much more expensive plan eliminates this safety device for many.

This restriction is the only thing stopping me from purchasing Starlink.

As a liveaboard cruising family, Starlink has allowed us to stay connected with friends and family as we have sailed from the USA to the South Pacific over the last 4 years. It allows our children to homeschool as we sail from country to country. Starlink keeps us connected in case of an emergency as we often sail hundreds of miles offshore. With the plan changes, we are not able to return to our country of registration every 30 days as it is over 6000 miles away.

As a person living on my sailboat in remote places full-time, Starlink enables my family to remain connected to high-speed data for weather, communicating with other sailboat cruiser about conditions and travel requirements. In places like the Caribbean, we travel between countries in less than 90 days. Global Priority is cost-prohibitive for families like ours. We are not gaming anything, just simply trying to use Starlink’s service in the countries that we are traveling in. Thank you.

Starlink has been great as we don't need to carry extra SIMS and always have good coverage. It would be a shame to have to go back the the SIM card method.

We are living on a sailboat and this change is not workable on a sailboat in the Carribean basin
