In the last 10 Months I have visited 15 countries and this pattern will continue. I am living on a limited old age pension. The new rules, if implemented will force me to abandon Starlink and go back to unreliable SIM cards on my phone. Please remove the 30 day restriction on Roam Unlimited plan.

We spend a lot of time in the Bahamas and out of country test still pay a premium for this service. Don’t start making up restriction to generate even more revenue. Elon you have enough money. You are making enough money off the plans in place which are fair. Don’t single out the travelers and explorers as it costs nothing to pick up different Sattelite while transiting the ocean.

Starlink has given us parents the ability to homeschool our children at a high level, we have benefited by having real time weather forecasting, passage planning, storm monitoring and communications with family as well as emergency contacts with doctors or even mechanics that are thousands of miles away helping us in a video chat. In this case, Starlink has become an important safety tool for modern ocean sailing.

For the past three years, Starlink has provided an extra layer of safety while sailing and cruising at a reasonable cost. Most of the seasonal East Coast Caribbean cruisers are out of their home countries for 4-6 months out of the year. With transit times taking up to three weeks based on weather conditions, returning home to reset every thirty days is impossible. I have no problem paying for ocean mode when offshore but $650-1150 monthly will put Starlink out of reach for me….

We can be in as many as five countries in a month and it has been great so far, so if we need to register in new. Countries for license and regulatory reasons, it would be critical to our safety in navigation and weather to be able to re- register without the 90 day restriction.
