I don’t currently own a Starlink product but was planning to purchase one for my cruising sailboat in the next six months. If the new limitation on roaming use is not changed it will not make sense for me to do so and I won’t.

As a sailor and a Starlink user, 30 days is just impossible for somebody that is nomadic. There is no way I can afford to do the global roam. I think this prays on the pockets of so many of us cruisers that have small boats and budgets.

I am a sailor who uses starlink for safety and weather forecasts I am constantly moving as I tour through the americas coast line please remove the 90 day rule as I don’t have a home port

Being liveaboards and long distance sailors we depend on internet for weather forecasts and communication. We are retired and do not have great financial resources. The plans have worked fine until now, but when we leave Europe it will not work for us anymore.

I am a sailing cruisers and sailing between countries and oceans and need reliable and affordable internet which Starlink provided so far. I don’t mind switching to local roaming plans of a country I am visiting but the Starlink rules of 90 days between switches and perhaps only a few days outside the area over 30 days are not country restrictions and will make usage difficult when sailing within areas and on oceans. I liked the Roam Unlimited thus far and toggling to Ocean Mode when inbetween c

I changed from Iridium because Starlink gives me more flexibility and bandwidth. I think I need to change back because the only thing I really need is the possibility to download grib files and send a message if I’m in trouble.
